With the support of a Grant For Artist Projects through Artist Trust of Washington State, and in collaboration with bookbinder, Melanie Brauner, I published a limited edition hand bound book of traffic patterns.

This project evolved as part of a morning coffee ritual while living in New Delhi, India. After a few months of committing to coffee on my porch, I began to notice and document the patterns of traffic in my neighborhood.

This series of drawings started by accident. Experimenting with a tablet PC while riding in the car, I found that the bumps and turns of the road led to some interesting patterns and textures, a visual “EKG” of the road.
